The Big Red Barn - Pumpkin Patching

Dave and I have a thing about Halloween - we don't really like it. The whole month of October is lost on us as far as festivities go. To me it is just a segue into Fall and Thanksgiving and Christmas music - the real fun :) However, I did want to start one tradition as a new little family - the pumpkin patch. We found the perfect one in Santaquin, the Big Red Barn. The Red Barn has all sorts of yummy things - we enjoyed our fresh apple cider donuts and homemade ice cream. Delicious. From the barn you take a tractor-pulled hayride through their orchards, all the way out to a pumpkin patch. There were potatoe-sack slides, a maze, and other fun things to do. Of course Sally didn't quite grasp the excitement of it all, but Dave and I sure had a great time.
